Many people are wondering what will be the future of the office and workspaces after COVID-19, and we do too!
What we know is that we will be back working in the office again, perhaps in a different and more cautious way, but we all need the social relationship and exchange that offers a shared working environment.
Sanitizing and cleaning of workstations and indoor air, materials, management of spaces and distances between people, integration of shields to existing furniture to protect workers.
Our research and development team is working on this and much more, to be able to interpret the office of the future.
Much consideration has been made to social dynamics and interactions that take place in the workspaces, taking inspiration from the numerous and important projects carried out over the years, for which thousands of workplaces, and not only, were produced and installed.
These weeks have made it clear how social distance will have to be part of our new daily life, together with a new need for people: feeling protected and safe surrounded by a healthy environment. However, not all companies can afford to eliminate workstations and increase the distance between those who work. Estel’s design team, led by President Alberto Stella, have studied and developed Caring Panel System, a solution whose function is inherent in the name it carries: taking care of people.
Caring Panel System offer physical protection from possible transmission of aerosol pathogens, and are easily sanitized in all their parts. They are a universal solution for any workstation, designed to maintain the visual opening of the space and transparency in natural light, a fundamental element for the well-being of people.
A versatile and easily applicable solution, because time is of the essence now, even more than ever. The sooner the offices are adapted, the sooner you can go back working together.
We wanted to study a solution that was suitable for all our workstations and that was easily applicable, because we know the value of time and we know that the sooner we will adapt our spaces, the sooner we will be able to work together again. In this project Estel has furthermore put all its attention to ensure that functionality and aesthetics go hand in hand, allowing a certain degree of personalization to blend in perfectly with every environment. Moreover, all the materials used can be easily dismantled and recycled at the end of the product’s life.
